1. Who we are

BrinkFin Capital (Pty) Ltd ("BrinkFin", "we", "us") is the responsible party for personal information processed through this website and our enquiry process. We are based in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, and can be contacted at ross@corprentleasing.co.za.

2. Information we collect

This website does not use contact forms, cookies, advertising trackers or analytics. We collect personal information only when you choose to contact us, for example by email. This may include:

• your name, business name, job title, email address and phone number;
• details you share about your business and your funding requirement;
• if you go on to apply for finance, information needed to assess the application, which we will request from you separately.

Like all websites, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages securely and protect against abuse.

3. Why we use it

• to respond to your enquiry and communicate with you;
• to assess, structure, conclude and administer finance or rental agreements, where you request this;
• to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including identity verification and anti-money-laundering requirements;
• to keep our website and systems secure.

We process personal information only where POPIA allows it: with your consent, to take steps you have requested before concluding a contract, to perform a contract, to comply with the law, or for our legitimate interests where these do not override your rights.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only where necessary with:

• service providers who support our business (such as IT, hosting and email providers), under appropriate confidentiality and security terms;
• credit bureaus, banks, insurers and professional advisers, where needed to assess or administer a facility you have applied for;
• our related companies, where needed to provide the services you have requested;
• regulators, law enforcement or other parties where the law requires it.

5. Cross-border transfers

Some of our service providers, including our website hosting provider, may store or process information outside South Africa. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient is bound by laws, binding agreements or rules that give a level of protection comparable to POPIA.

6. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law (for example, financial and anti-money-laundering record-keeping requirements). Afterwards it is securely deleted or de-identified.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, damage and unauthorised access. This website is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please don't email sensitive documents such as ID copies or bank statements until we ask for them.

8. Your rights

Under POPIA you have the right to:

• ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access to it;
• ask us to correct, update or delete your information;
• object to processing on reasonable grounds, and to direct marketing at any time;
• withdraw consent, where processing is based on consent;
• lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
